Overview
Katherine Moore Donnelly is a member of McBrayer PLLC’s intellectual property practice. A large part of Katherine’s practice also focuses on transactional work, specifically, contract review and negotiation of commercial agreements involving supply chain and energy transactions, and construction agreements. Katherine uses strategic expertise and clear, concise communication to preserve clients' interests. She recognizes the importance of a client-centered approach and maintains an ethical standard to build trust within client relationships.
Katherine’s practice in the primary areas of intellectual property and transactional law has granted her the skills to expertly safeguard and maximize clients’ intellectual property assets, while also allowing her to develop an understanding and appreciation of the importance of client business, risk, and intellectual property considerations when reviewing commercial or construction agreements. In addition to contract review and negotiation, she drafts and reviews licenses, assignments, and other forms of agreements involving intellectual property. Katherine assists with infringement litigation, prosecuting trademark and copyright registration applications, and litigating trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings. Her execution is thorough, and clients can trust her to provide comprehensive contract review services. Providing reliable and cost-effective service with integrity is Katherine’s main objective, always working toward achieving the best possible outcome for the client. Professionally, Katherine participates in the Kentucky Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and Intellectual Property Law Group and is a member of the International Trademark Association.
When she is not practicing, Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and two dogs. She is fond of traveling and reads in her spare time.
