Miles graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in accounting and earned his J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. After law school, Miles worked as an associate trust counsel for one of Kentucky's largest state-chartered trust companies. This experience gave him valuable insights into trust administration, influencing his estate planning practice. Afterward, he was employed by Clayton R. Hume, PLLC, where he managed various tasks, such as drafting estate planning documents, setting up various types of trusts, administering trusts, collaborating with individual and corporate trustees, handling estate administration, and conducting tax planning.

When not in the office, Miles enjoys exercising, spending time outdoors, playing golf, and supporting University of Kentucky athletics.
