Overview
As an equine and gaming law attorney in Lexington, the horse capital of the world, Vince Gabbert aims to do more than just solve problems for his clients—he creates opportunities for them. After serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Keeneland for more than a dozen years, Vince is more than familiar with the landscape of Kentucky’s equine and gaming law and all its players. He knows that the Commonwealth’s signature industry is a unique one—deeply rooted in historical knowledge and traditions, but ever-evolving with changing times. Vince doesn’t just help his clients overcome obstacles that arise in horse farming, equine transactions, and gaming—he presents them with new avenues to pursue to grow their businesses and ambitions as they participate in a world class industry on local, national, and international stages.
Vince’s extensive experience in the equine industry has formed his philosophy for practicing law—strong relationships are the most valuable assets you can have. He believes that teamwork and a strong network are the best ways to leap over hurdles and reach new heights. Collaborating with clients, colleagues, decisionmakers, and industry professionals, Vince finds great satisfaction in accomplishing goals by working together.
In addition to his practice with McBrayer, Vince is President of Lexington Sporting Club, the city’s new professional soccer franchise and youth club.
