Overview
Steve Bringard began the third decade of his career in professional service organization administration by joining McBrayer as the firm’s Chief Human Resource Officer before becoming Chief Financial Officer. He came to McBrayer from Middleton Reutlinger, where he served as Director of Finance and Administration for nearly a decade and presided over human resources, finance, administration, and facilities. Prior to this, Steve spent more than 11 years with Cotton and Allen and Dean Dorton Allen Ford as Practice Administrator and Associate Director of Financial Management.
In his various roles over twenty-plus years of working in human resources and financial administration, Steve has implemented payroll and HRIS systems along with EDI feed with various insurance companies, negotiated insurance benefit programs, moved the annual benefit enrollment from paper to online direct feeds to insurance companies, served as the chairman for a 401k administration and testing committee, and created an online process for 360 annual evaluations.
A longtime resident of Louisville, Kentucky, Steve received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bellarmine University before becoming a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant. Steve is a graduate of Bellarmine University and lives in Louisville with his wife, Kristi, and daughters Grace and Libby. He and Kristi enjoy traveling and even lived abroad in Belgium for two years.
