Overview
Katy Harvey's journey with McBrayer began as a clerk during the summer before her final year at the University of Louisville's Brandeis School of Law. After graduating and passing the bar, she was welcomed as an Associate in McBrayer’s Louisville office. Her primary focus is on insurance defense and general liability claims, but she also practices healthcare law, especially in medical malpractice and nursing home negligence defense. She has experience assisting clients throughout the various stages of litigation, ranging from issuing discovery to drafting appellate briefs.
Katy confidently grasps the importance of meticulous attention to detail and obtaining a comprehensive understanding of her client’s legal issues. She is fully prepared to collaborate with clients to develop a customized litigation plan that aligns with their specific goals and requirements. Katy is eager to acquire new knowledge and skills and is excited to be in a profession that values continuous learning and development.
