McBrayer’s expansion continues with the addition of two Associate attorneys and a Chief Human Resources Officer in the Lexington and Louisville offices, further expanding the firm’s litigation and intellectual property groups and adding a trusted HR professional to firm administration.
Colin Buckner has joined the firm’s Lexington office. He comes to McBrayer from Walters Richardson, PLLC, and has joined the firm’s commercial and business litigation practice group as an Associate. Mr. Buckner is a 2019 graduate of Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law and holds two bachelor’s degrees in history and criminal justice from Lincoln Memorial University. He is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Kentucky.
Ameena Khan Per joins the firm’s Louisville office as an Associate. She comes to McBrayer from Stites & Harbison, PLLC, joining the firm’s intellectual property practice group. Ms. Khan Per is a 2020 graduate of the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Kentucky. She is licensed to practice in Ohio and Kentucky.
Alison Begor, SHRM-SCP, has joined the firm’s Lexington office as the Chief Human Resources Officer. She previously served as the Associate Vice President and Director of Human Resources at Transylvania University. Ms. Begor holds a Master of Science in Human Resources and Organizational Development from the University of Louisville. In addition to her role at McBrayer, she is the author of the book "Work-Life in Balance" and works as an Executive Coach.
