On May 21st, 2021, McBrayer Member Bruce Paul rappelled down the side of the Hyatt Regency hotel in Louisville, Kentucky, to raise funds for Gilda's Club Kentuckiana. Gilda's Club is an organization that provides support for those with a cancer diagnosis and their families.
"I serve on the board of Gilda’s Club, a cancer organization on that provides free support to anyone, everywhere, who is dealing with cancer," said Bruce. "I sought out my board membership after I experienced firsthand the enormous impact the organization had on my mother as she confronted cancer at too early of an age. I lost my mother to cancer on May 1, 2010. Thanks to Gilda‘s Club’s programming, she battled cancer with a wonderful support group that provided her with strength, dignity, love, and humor. Gilda’s Club even opened its doors to her friends and family after her funeral to celebrate her life."
