In Memoriam: Karen L. Moore
June 22, 1960 – March 13, 2021
We are devastated to announce the loss of longtime McBrayer paralegal Karen Moore due to complications from a blood clot on Saturday, March 13, 2021. She is survived by a sister, Kathleen, and a brother, Brian, sons Russell and Justin, and five grandchildren.
Karen came to McBrayer PLLC over thirty years ago and has been a fixture at the firm as it grew over the past three decades. She worked closely with James H. Frazier, III, the firm’s Managing Member, and was so heavily involved with his law practice and work as Fayette Master Commissioner that he credits her support as crucial to his success.
Karen was more than a paralegal, however. Her office was the locus of activity in the firm, and those who knew her knew that they could find good conversation, great advice, a friendly word, and a hearty laugh. Karen had a way of shooting straight that brought many in the firm to seek her counsel. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, friend, confidant, and backbone of what is an emotionally devastated law firm. We miss her dearly.
